Two storey commercial building with retail on the main floor (18,830 SF) and a Dentist and Daycare on the second (9,809 SF). Structural steel frame building on concrete piles and gradebeam. Main floor will be a concrete slab on grade. Second floor will be concrete topping on metal deck. Exterior finishes include EIFS, masonry veneer, Hardie Board siding and AL-13 panels. Roofing will be EPDM. Phase 1 sitework to include two new commercial crossings, paving, curbs and sidewalks for Building A. Base Building to be completed in December 2017.

Southridge Landing – Building A

Royal Centre Hills

Canbian Inc. has been involved in the project since the beginning concept stage, working with the Owner and Architect. We have brought in a design build team towards completion of the drawings The building will be a one storey structural steel frames on piles and gradebeam foundation. All bays will be commercial retail / professional occupancies. The base building electrical system will incorporate the use of solar panels on the roof. Exterior finishes include EIFS, Metal Panels, brick veneer, aluminum windows and EPDM roofing. Building construction is anticipated to be completed in early 2018.

Klarvatten Commercial

Commercial

Canbian has been selected to be the General Contractor for this north Edmonton two storey office / retail development totalling 39,780sqft.  The site has been cleared and we started construction on July 18, 2016. Building composition is made up of cast in place concrete foundations, structural steel skeleton, 10” insulated precast concrete walls, and an R40 PVC roof. Interior finishes included porcelain floor tile, granite wall tile, exposed concrete, paint, finish millwork, and T-bar ceilings. Anticipated completion date is January 31st, 2017.

JP Centre

Canbian signed on to the project at the beginning concept stages and has been involved in both budgetary pricing and design of the new building. The existing 2 storey theatre is being demolished, including asbestos abatement. Once demolition is complete, a geotechnical investigation will need to be completed for final design. The new project is a storey building. Main floor will be commercial / retail bay. The second floor will be office use. Interior tenant improvement for the second floor office will also be done, including all finishes, partitions, washrooms, etc.

Bryant Heritage Plaza

Preliminary design and development permit drawings were complete when Canbian became involved in this project. Located on the southeast corner of Beaumont, this is a prime retail development including three new buildings. One building has a main floor area of 30,200 sf. With a partial second floor of 20,200 square feet. The floor to floor height of 6.8 metres provides a very high ceiling for the main floor occupants. The two other buildings are single storey at 9000 sf and 6400 sf respectively. All three building are constructed to suit the French colonial theme in Beaumont using structural steel skeleton, steel stud infill, EIFS and metal cladding. Originally designed with strip footings and foundation walls, the foundation was revised to screw piles and grade beams to suit the budget and late autumn construction start.
