Cannabis House is an upcoming chain of Recreational Cannabis Dispensaries. We were asked by our clients if we could build 4 locations for their future businesses. The interior renovation includes adding a secure cannabis room which is a strictly controlled partition construction which includes Steel studs, steel mesh, 16ga sheet steel ,5/8th inch drywall, anti spread bracing, 14ga door frames all to AGLC standards. The sales area includes a hanging trellis which houses lighting, and security systems. Expected completion ranging from recreational cannabis legalization day October 17, 2018 to late October 2018.

The SCS Warehouse Office Building is a purpose-built building for Solution Controls Systems Inc. They do industrial electrical control panels and automation. The foundation will consist of a Grade beam system resting on Screw piles. The structure of the building will be steel columns joists and beams including a steel corrugated roof deck. Exterior finishes will include EFIS stucco, Masonry block and aluminum window curtain wall. The Warehouse area will be comprised of insulated metal panels. The roof is an EPDM roof. Anticipated completion will be first week of March 2019.

Canbian Inc. is the construction manager on the Silverberry project. This project is a two storey commercial building, main floor 18,000 square feet, second floor 10,600 square feet. Exterior finishes include masonry, EIFS and metal cladding, roofing is ballasted 60 mil EPDM. The structure is steel stud on structural steel, concrete grade beam on screw piles. The land usage and building location is affected by the utility easement along the east side of the property.

Canbian has been retained as the General Contractor for this single storey commercial carwash and CRU development totalling 13,300sqft in Fort Saskatchewan. Construction started on August 1st, 2018 and is anticipated to be completed for March 30th, 2019. Building composition is made up of ICF concrete foundations which support the insulated precast concrete wall panels. The roof structure consists OWSJ’s & metal deck that support the EPDM roof.

This project consists of a new hotel and a separate CRU Commercial building on the same site. The hotel is approximately 43,200 sqft in total with 92 suites over four floors as well as an indoor pool. The building is primarily a wood structure sitting on top of a concrete foundation. The exterior finishes consists largely of EFIS stucco along with a TPO membrane roof. The commercial building has a 10,000 sqft foot print comprised of a conventional steel frame structure and grade beam foundation. This building features aluminum windows, EFIS stucco and masonry exterior finishes.

Canbian has been selected to be the General Contractor for this south Edmonton single storey commercial carwash development totalling 14,035sqft. Construction started on August 21st and is anticipated to be completed for February 28th, 2018. Building composition is made up of cast in place concrete strip footings and foundation walls which support the Conform Stay-in-Place concrete wall forming system (by NuForm). The roof structure consists of precast concrete Hollow-core and Double-tee members with a EPDM roof membrane. Interior finishes included Reline panels (by NuForm), painted drywall, t-bar ceilings, exposed Hollow-core and Double-tee’s, and a concrete slab on grade.
