Construction of 3 CRU buildings and 1 wand car wash on a 3 Acre site in SW Edmonton. Foundations on all buildings are screw piles and gradebeam c/w a slab on grade. The 3 CRU’s are conventional structural steel framed with steel stud walls and gypsum board. There will be an EIFS finish to the buildings, with some feature metal panels and store front windows. The car wash will have painted precast walls and galvanized OWSJ. All 4 buildings will have an EPDM roof. Anticipated Completion is June 2021.

Canbian Inc. will be completing 3 new buildings on the Royal Centre Keswick site. Building A will be a 16,387 SF, CRU general retail building. Building B will be the shell building for a 4,960 SF daycare.
Building C will be the shell building for a 4,100 SF gas station convenience store. All associated site servicing, concrete, paving and landscaping will be completed for the entire site. The exterior finishes of the building will be a combination of the stucco, masonry and metal panels. Roofing will be EPDM. The anticipate completion of this project January 2021.

The new End of the Roll building is a one storey Industrial building located on Parsons Road in Edmonton. The building will include a sales area, as well as storage and racking for the flooring products sold. There will be a mezzanine area for the offices. The back of the building will be warehouse space with 1 loading dock door, and 1 ground level receiving door. The building will be structural steel framed with an EPDM roof. Exterior finishes include large store front windows, masonry and metal siding. The anticipated completion of this project is July 2020.This project will be the 4th building completed for End of the Roll.

Canbian was contracted to complete the interior tenant improvements for a new “Liquor House” store. This 2,968ft2 liquor store is located on the north side of Edmonton and will be the 4th liquor store that we have completed for “Liquor House”. The interior finishes to be completed include drywall, flooring, painting, millwork, coolers, security roll shutters, mechanical, and electrical scopes of work.

This project consists of the complete construction of 3 commercial buildings in the Ellerslie Industrial area of Edmonton (19,442ft2 total). Building A is a 15,441ft2 commercial retail unit building, building B is a 3,007ft2 C-Store for 7-Eleven, and building C is a 994ft2 automatic car wash for 7-Eleven. Construction of this project started in October of 2019 and turn over is anticipated for fall of 2020.

This project consists of a single storey, 11,532ft2 commercial retail building in Edmonton. Foundations are to consist of helical screw piles and concrete grade beams with a concrete slab on grade. The building’s structure is comprised of a structural steel skeleton with a metal roof deck. Exterior finishes include: EIFS, masonry block, and an EPDM roof. Construction slated to start in March, 2020 and have a completion of October, 2020.

Canbian Inc. was the successful contractor to be awarded the Glenridding Commercial project. This project is a two storey commercial building, main floor is 21,317 square feet, second floor is 14,614 square feet. The building’s structure is comprised of a structural steel skeleton with metal roof deck and steel stud walls. Exterior finishes include masonry, EIFS, and metal cladding. Roofing is a mix of SBS roofing for the second floor patio areas and EPDM roofing for the remainder. Anticipated completion is scheduled for October 2020.

Canbian has been retained as the General Contractor for the Elves Society Building Addition and Renovations. Construction started in August 2018 with the demolition of a portion of the existing building to make way for the new addition. The existing building foundations needed to be underpinned and supported before construction of the new basement could commence. The new addition is made of reinforced concrete footings and concrete walls, structure steel columns, beams, OWSJ and metal floor and roof deck. Completion is slated for end of August 2019.

Canbian is the construction manager for this 8000 square feet commercial retail project. The building is conventional structural steel with EIFS and metal cladding on steel stud / gypsum board walls. The lot was previously a service station which has now required a structural concrete slab on grade main floor. Construction completion is expected for June 2019.
